Auteurium's readers are AI. They read your pages and give development notes. They never write your script.
A reader will never add, delete, or change a word of your work unsolicited. If you ask for a draft inside a note's discussion, that draft sits beside your page until you press "Use this." That acceptance is the only way anything ever reaches your script, and it is always your hand on the pen.
Our readers are calibrated not to flatter you. Zero notes on a clean scene is a valid read, and they are tested on that. Here is how the testing works.
Our AI provider is Anthropic. Their commercial terms state it plainly: "Anthropic may not train models on Customer Content from Services." The same terms confirm that you retain all rights to what you send and own what comes back.
We hold the same line ourselves. We never use your pages for training or calibration. Our readers are calibrated on test scenes we wrote for that purpose.

The 2026 MBA, ratified this year, preserves the AI protections writers won in 2023. In plain terms, for writers working under it:
Spec work written on your own time is not governed by the MBA at all. None of this is legal advice, and the agreement binds studios, not tools. We state it here because writers deserve the actual text over the ambient fear.

Major contests ban AI-generated content. We have found no contest rule anywhere that bans getting AI notes on a script you wrote. Those are different things, and the difference is the entire design of this product.
One honest edge we will not blur: if you ask a reader for a draft in a discussion and accept it onto your page, that passage was AI-drafted. Under the strictest contest rules, that matters. Auteurium will always make the distinction legible instead of pretending it away. If you are entering a contest with an AI-generated-content rule, the safe path is simple: use the notes, write the words yourself. The product is built so that is the natural way to use it.
